Govt. appoints DCOs across Sindh



















KARACHI: Formally appointing the Deputy Commissioner Officers (DCOs), the provincial government has also issued orders of declaration of limits of districts in Sindh province late on Monday night, SAMAA reported.

Meanwhile, the bank accounts of abolished local government in Karachi – City District Government (CDGK) have been frozen besides the previous system of education has been restored in province. Also, the Sindh government has placed ban on jobs in province as long as the systematic procedure of restoration of Commissionerate System gets completed. According to the notification issued by Sindh Board of Revenue, the number of districts in Sindh has been increased from 23 to 24. Orders of appointment of DCOs in 24 districts have been issued.  Consequently, the supply of petroleum products at fuel stations has come to standstill all across Karachi after the Sindh government froze the bank accounts of CDGK.  As per restored Commissionerate System, five Secondary Directorates will serve at education department in five divisions of Sindh
