Marvi Memon quits NA seat, PML-Q

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Marvi Memon Wednesday tendered resignation from both her party and seat at National Assembly.

Talking to media outside Parliament House, she maintained that she put up efforts to prevent the party leadership from joining the government; however, she failed in doing so.

Marvi, who read out lengthy statement containing reasons for her to quit the party and NA seat, stressed that she could not go along her party under the present circumstances. SAMAA
