Pakistan, India issue joint communique

ISLAMABAD: India and Pakistan issued a joint communique after holding two-day talks on Thursday, DawnNews reported.
The two sides decided to continue the dialogue and the talks held were termed constructive and cordial.
Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir and his Indian counterpart Nirupama Rao were addressing the press jointly.
Bashir said the talks were constructive and Pakistan’s foreign office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said that security issues and terrorism remained the key issues that needed to be resolved between the two countries.
The two sides agreed to refrain from negative propaganda against one another in the communique.
