KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Monday termed as “unfounded and baseless” the allegations leveled by MQM against the PPP. Expressing his reaction at MQM’s decision to part ways with the PPP government, he said that PPP would soon give detailed answers to MQM’s allegations. He said that despite MQM’s decision, PPP would continue to pursue its policy of reconciliation. To a question, he said that PPP consults with its coalition partners on every issue. “The MQM’s anger is beyond one’s understanding,” he said. Political and defense analyst Dr. Hasan Askari said that new political developments would cause negative implications on democracy. He said that situation could become tense in Karachi after MQM’s decision to quit the government. SOURCE
