Musharraf to be held on arrival: prosecutor

ISLAMABAD, Jan 7: Former president Pervez Musharraf will be arrested in connection with the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto if he returns to the country, according to a government prosecutor.

There was no need for any "fresh arrest warrants" for him as a court had already issued orders for his arrest, prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali told reporters on Saturday...

Lawyers force PM to cut short his speech

ISLAMABAD, Jan 7: President Asif Ali Zardari has said all but one PPP leaders were against holding a rally at Rawalpindi's Liaquat Bagh, where Benazir Bhutto was assassinated on Dec 27, 2007.

WBA agrees to rematch: Amir promoter

LONDON, Jan 7: Amir Khan's promoter said on Saturday the WBA had informed him it would order a rematch with American Lamont Peterson following the British boxer's controversial defeat in their world title fight last month.
