Acting speaker convenes session QUETTA: Hours after Balochistan Assembly Speaker Mohammad Aslam Bhootani, in his capacity as acting governor of the province, put on hold a session of the provincial assembly scheduled for Tuesday, the acting speaker of the assembly, Syed Mutiullah Agha, convened the session. A spokesman for the Balochistan government told Dawn late on Monday night that the acting speaker had issued a notification on the basis of a requisition signed by 19 members of the assembly.
