MQM casts doubts on prospects for talks in LondonBy Our Staff ReporterKARACHI, Feb 2: In a veiled reference to speculation about a meeting between top leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement during President Asif Zardari’s visit to the United Kingdom, the MQM coordination committee declared on Saturday that its chief Altaf Hussain would not hold any ‘formal meeting’ with any PPP leader or committee. President Zardari is currently in the UK on an official visit and a private television reported that a meeting between him and Mr Hussain would take place during his stay in London. | ||||||

NAB official’s body exhumedBy Our Staff CorrespondentMULTAN, Feb 2: A team of the Punjab Forensic Science Agency on Saturday collected specimens from the body of Kamran Faisal, assistant director of the National Accountability Bureau, after exhuming the body from his grave in Mian Channu, 70km from here. Sources said a team of Islamabad police, led by investigation officer Rana Mubarrak Ali, reached Mian Channu and approached Chaudhry Shafiq Ahmed, the magistrate, for permission to exhume the body and collect samples. | ||||||

Gilani wants to plead own review petitionBy Nasir IqbalISLAMABAD, Feb 2: Without any pomp, former premier Yousuf Raza Gilani appeared before the Supreme Court on Saturday to file a petition seeking review of the June 19, 2012, order disqualifying him from holding a seat in parliament for committing contempt of the court.
