Terrorist attacks on rise in KP, FataISLAMABAD, Oct 14: After a relative decline in August, the number of terrorist attacks significantly increased in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) in September, says a report of an independent research-based think tank. “As many as 38 terrorist attacks were reported across the KP during the month (September), 20 more than previous month, which claimed the lives of 171 people, representing a phenomenal increase compared to previous month when only nine people had died in such attacks,” says the monthly security report released by Pak Institute for Peace Studies on Monday. | ||||||||||||||
