�Militants� den near Raiwind smashedFaisal Ali GhummanLAHORE: Two suspected terrorists and an official of an intelligence agency were killed and four others, including a military officer, injured during an operation after security forces raided a house near Raiwind Road in the small hours of Thursday to capture some suspects. The incident took place a couple of kilometres from the Jati Umra residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. This fact prompted some provincial ministers and police officers to conjecture that the suspects were plotting an attack on Jati Umra. SC moved for initiating contempt proceedings against ImranNasir IqbalISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has been dragged into the Supreme Court by two lawyers for ridiculing in his media outburst the apex court, particularly former chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry. The petitioners � Islamabad Bar Association�s President Naseer Ahmad Kayani and General Secretary Chaudhry M. Naeem Ali Gujar � have requested the court to initiate contempt proceedings against Mr Khan under Article 204 of the Constitution for �abusing, scandalising, ridiculing and bringing disrespect and hatred to the Supreme Court and the former chief justice�. | ||||||||||||||
