I did the best I could. I cant win every match. These players come out and give their best. Tennis: Andy Murray crashes out to Dimitrov at Miami Posted: MIAMI (AFP) - World number two Andy Murray of Britain was upset in the third round of the ATP and WTA Miami Open on Monday, falling to Bulgarian 26th seed Grigor Dimitrov 6-7 (1/7), 6-4, 6-3.Murray was seeking a third Miami crown and his fourth final in five years but lost to a foe he had beaten in six of eight prior meetings.The 28-year-old Scotsman lost a 6-7 (1/7), 6-4, 6-3 shocker to 28th-ranked Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov on Monday at the Miami Open after having been sent packing at Indian Wells by Argentinas 48th-ranked Frederico Delbonis.I was up a break in the third, same thing in Indian Wells as well, Murray said. Then lost a run of games in both matches. So need to look at that and see where I go from there.Murray, who fell to 0-5 in Australian Open finals with a loss to Novak Djokovic in January, became a father February 7 when his wife Kim gave birth to daughter Sophia and took a break until Indian Wells.I didnt know what to expect, Murray said. Oil edges lower as oversupply weighs Posted: NEW YORK (AFP) - Oil prices drifted lower Monday, extending last weeks decline amid a global oversupply, with trading activity severely limited by market holidays in Europe.US benchmark West Texas Intermediate for delivery in May fell seven cents to $39.39 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.In London, Brent North Sea for May delivery, the European benchmark, fell 17 cents to $40.27 a barrel.The steam has gone out from the bull market for now, said Mike Lynch of Strategic Energy & Economic Research. Unless we get some more serious bullish -- either inventories information, news out of OPEC or economic -- news, so far were still waiting.Oil prices last week posted their first weekly decline in a month and a half. Much of the downturn reflected pressure from a US government report that said US commercial crude inventories had jumped a huge 9.4 million barrels in the prior week, adding to worries about the long-running global glut.Before that, oil had rebounded since February on speculation that major producers could agree to freeze output or take some action to curb falling prices. Members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and key non-members led by Russia are due to discuss a proposed output freeze at a meeting in Doha on April 17. The petroleum markets have been unable to hold minor overnight gains as traders are beginning to focus more on rising inventories than on hopes that a meeting between most OPEC producers with Russia and some other non-OPEC producers will transform a surplus into a deficit, said Tim Evans of Citi Futures.Evans said that based on the producers stated agenda for freezing output at January levels, a bullish outcome for the market was not anticipated. We see potential for prices to begin weakening even ahead of the meeting as this probability begins to sink in, he said.Bernard Aw at IG Markets noted that market business was modest due to the long Easter break across most world markets.Everything hinges on the meeting between OPEC and non-OPEC producers, Aw said. If it takes place and they come to some agreement of a production freeze, we could see some gains well beyond $40.

Dollar mixed ahead of Yellen speech Posted: NEW YORK (AFP) - The dollar traded mixed Monday as investors awaited Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellens speech on monetary policy, hoping to glean insight into the path of interest rate increases.Investors were expected to focus on Yellens remarks Tuesday to the Economic Club of New York to see if she sheds light on when the central bank will raise rates for a second time.With the economy exhibiting patches of weakness, analysts are penciling in about two increases this year, after the Fed lifted rates in December for the first time in nine years.US Commerce Department data showed lackluster consumer spending in February and the Feds preferred inflation measure rose 1.0 percent year-over-year, down from 1.2 percent in January. Stripping out volatile food and energy prices, core inflation was up 1.7 percent from a year ago, near the Feds 2.0 percent target.A core rate of 1.7 percent will leave many hawks at the Fed concerned they are falling behind an upward inflationary trend, said Jay Morelock of FTN Financial.The dollar slipped against the euro, trading at $1.1196 per euro around 2100 GMT, down from $1.1166 at the same time Friday. The greenback rose to 113.45 yen from 113.14 yen on Friday. The Federal Open Market Committee, the Feds policy arm, holds its next meeting on April 26-27, though some analysts say the FOMC would be more likely to raise rates at the June 14-15 meeting.Kathy Lien of BK Asset Management said that Fridays March labor market report could lift the dollar if earnings rebound after last months surprise decline.However if Yellen remains dovish and the payrolls report is weak then investors will punish the dollar and rule out any chance of June tightening, Lien said.

Jamaat-ul-Ahrar claims Lahore attack, releases picture of bomber Posted: LAHORE (Dunya News) – Banned organization Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a faction of the Taliban, which once declared loyalty to the Islamic State movement (IS) has claimed the responsibility for the suicide attack in Lahore’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park on Sunday in which 72 persons, mostly children and women, were killed and more than 300 were injured.Dunya News has obtained the picture of alleged suicide bomber Salahudin which was released by Jamaat-ul-Ahrar on Monday night.A spokesman of the banned Jamaat-ul-Ahrar further said that the video message of the suicide bomber, which was recorded prior to the blast, will also be released soon.We carried out the Lahore attack, Ehansullah Ehsan, spokesman for the banned Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, told media by telephone on Monday from an undisclosed location.He said the group would carry out more such attacks, vowing to target schools and colleges alongside government and military interests.

PM appoints Ashtar Ausaf as Attorney General Posted: ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has appointed Ashtar Ausaf as new Attorney General of Pakistan, reported Dunya News.PM house spokesperson announced that PM accepted the resignation of Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt on Monday and replaced him with Ashtar Ausaf. The spokesperson also stated that Zahid Hamid has once again been given charge of the Ministry of Law and Justice.Zahid Hamid will also serve as additional charge for the Ministry for Climate Change.

Afghan president calls PM, offers condolences over Lahore attack Posted: LAHORE (Web Desk/Dunya News) – Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani called Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Monday and offered his condolences over the blast in Lahore that claimed the lives of 70 people and injured over 300, reported Dunya News.According to PM House representative, PM while conversating with the Afghan president said that terrorism has become a threat for the whole world, Afghanistan is also facing this menace.PM Nawaz stated that both countries will have to work together in order to wipe out terrorism, adding that the fleeing terrorists are aiming for soft targets. Adjournment motion moved in NA over sit-in in front of parliament Posted: ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Monday moved an adjournment motion in the National Assembly over the sit-in staged in front of the parliament building, reported Dunya News.The motion states that there is a threat to the lives and to the property of the locals of Islamabad because of the sit-in and that the government has failed to establish law and order in the country.The motion demanded that the government needs to focus upon establishing peace in the country and while taking the Assembly into its consideration, it should share its working in this regards.Members of the Assembly including Nafeesa Shah, Shazia Mari, Ijaz Jakharani, Ghulam Mustafa Shah and others signed the adjournment motion.PPP parliamentary leader Saeed Ghani stated that whenever a tragic incident occurs, the Federal Interior Minister remain silent. “As of now, the parliament building is under siege and the Interior Minister is nowhere to be found” he said, adding that “Chaudhary Nisar himself wants the government to fail.”

Eight members of single family killed in Lahore blast Posted: LAHORE (Dunya news) – Eight members of a single family lost their lives in Saturday’s deadly suicide bomb blast in Lahore’s Gulshane-e-Iqbal Park. The terrorist attack left at least 71 dead and more than 300 injured.With the family virtually wiped out in the attack, sole surviving member Mohammad Zubair was left in a state of shock and disbelief, as the world seemed to crumble around him.Resident of Lahore’s New Mazang area, Zubair’s relatives had arrived from Sanghur to spend a weekend of relaxation and merriment at his place. His family had wanted to take the guests out for a relaxing day, so they headed towards the park, unaware of what lay ahead.Arriving at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, Zubair left his family members in order to buy a ticket. From crime to journalism, Belgian terror suspects a mixed bag Posted: BRUSSELS (AFP) - Two brothers who dabbled in crime, a freelance journalist, a university drop-out and a mystery man -- the five suspects in Belgiums airport and subway train attacks are a mixed lot.Two of the men blew themselves up at the Brussels airport, a third inside a metro train, killing 31 people and injuring 300 on March 22.A fourth suspect was charged Saturday with terrorist murder and identified by the federal prosecutors office only as Faycal C.A fifth man remains on the run.Here are brief profiles of the five:Faycal C, or Faycal CheffouFaycal C, believed to be the man in a hat pictured in CCTV footage alongside the two airport bombers, but whose device did not go off, is the first person to face terrorist offences over the bloodiest attacks ever to strike the symbolic capital of Europe.Sources close to the inquiry told AFP he was Faycal Cheffou, an independent journalist who was accused by the Brussels mayor last year of trying to recruit extremists among refugees and who can be seen on YouTube in 2014 demanding the authorities respect the rights of asylum-seekers.He was arrested late Thursday close to the federal prosecutors office with two others when tailed by police, and has been charged with taking part in a terrorist group, terrorist murder and attempted terrorist murder.Police searched his home but found no explosives or weapons.Najim LaachraouiMoroccan-born Najim Laachraoui, 24, has been identified as one of the two airport suicide bombers and is believed to have been the bomb-maker for Novembers attacks in Paris.He is described as having been a good student with a good disciplinary record, and friends and family remember an easy-going youngster who liked playing frisbee and football.In 2012 he enrolled for a first year electro-mechanical engineering course at Brussels Free University (ULB) but failed to sign up for a second year.He was a practising Muslim, whose radicalisation shocked the family. He was travelling with Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam and using the false identity of Soufiane Kayal.Investigators have found traces of Laachraouis DNA on explosives used in the Paris gun and suicide bomb assaults, as well as at hideouts and a suspected bomb factory in the Schaarbeek district of Brussels.Ibrahim El BakraouiThe 29-year-old was one of the two airport suicide bombers and is the brother of Khalid, who blew himself up on a train at Maalbeek metro station in the Belgian capital.Long before, the two lived the lives of small-time Brussels hoodlums, piling up convictions for carjackings, robberies and shoot-outs with police.Baby-faced Ibrahim was handed a nine-year sentence in 2010 after a gunfight with police. Fake 'amil' burns man while attempting to rid him of evil spirit Posted: GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – While attempting to rid an elderly man of a supposed evil jinn, a local amil (shaman) burned a man who approached him in order to get some relief, reported Dunya News.Abdul Sattar, 60, was the father of six and was a labourer who lived in the Baghbanpura area of Gujranwala. He was sick for the past few days on the accounts of which, his family members called an amil saaein baba from Gojra who approached the family along with two aides.The amil declared that Abdul Sattar was possessed by an evil spirit and in order to cure him, he took him along with his assistants to one of the rooms of the house where he began to do perform exorcism while burning some coals.After hearing no sounds from the room, Sattar’s family members broke the door of the room and discovered Abdul Sattar’s body that was badly burned and tortured and that the amil baba along with his aides had disappeared from the scene.Baghbanpura police acted after they were intimated about the happening and submitted the dead body to the District Headquarter hospital and started the search for the culprit amil and his aides.

Must raise RAW agent's arrest on international forums: Balochistan Assembly members Posted: QUETTA (Dunya News) – Members of Balochistan Assembly while discussing about the arrest of the operative of the Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) during the formal session of proceedings on Saturday put forth the demand to raise the issue with the global community, reported Dunya News.Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Maulana Wasi stated that if any incident happens in India then the blame is placed on Pakistan at once whereas India its self is meddling in the affairs of Pakistan.Provincial Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that RAW funded entities in the province will be confronted with full force.Assembly Member Samina Shakeel said that Pakistan has reached the root of terrorism after arresting the RAW agent.Majid Abro stated that all the incidents happening in Balochistan are sponsored by RAW whereas Zamrak Khan Achakzai said that befitting reply needs to be given to all entities who meddle in the affairs of the country.

Khan neither happy with national nor party's election commission: Rana Sana Posted: LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Saturday while criticising Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan stated that he has become a prisoner of his own ego and arrogance, reported Dunya News.Rana Sanaullah said that Imran has no faith in any transparency and merit, further adding that he is neither happy with the Chief Election Commission of the country and the Chief Election Commission of his party as well.He said that earlier Khan was unable to maintain good ties with Justice Wajihuddin and now Tasneem Noorani and other members of the Election Commission have abandoned him.Rana Sanaullah further added that Khan thinks of nothing but rigging these days.

Pakistan team returns home tonight, Afridi stays in Dubai Posted: LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani cricket team shall return to the country tonight after being knocked out of the ICC World Twenty20 that is being played in India, reported Dunya News.Team skipper Shahid Afridi will not be returning with the side as he shall be staying in Dubai for some days. Some players of the team will be landing in Lahore whereas rest will be heading to Karachi, both via Dubai.Sarfraz Ahmed, Anwar Ali, Mohammad Sami, Khalid Latif and Sharjeel Khan are among the players who shall be landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport whereas Team manager Intikhab Alam, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Irfan, Shoaib Malik and others shall be landing at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.Pakistani team was able to win only one out of the four group stage matches it played in the tournament as the collective performance of the side was utmost disappointing.
