LHC suspends removal of SNGPL chiefLAHORE, May 15: The Lahore High Court suspended on Wednesday the caretaker government’s order to remove Arif Hameed from the post of managing director of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines and sought a reply from the government. In a writ petition challenging his removal Mr Hameed said that the caretaker government had acted beyond its mandate and jurisdiction. | ||||||||||||||
Pakistani bags prestigious awardKARACHI, May 15: Arif Naqvi, the founder and chief executive officer of the Abraaj Group, has been chosen as one of the five honourees under the 2013 Oslo Business for Peace Award.
